imageCCC gained the world fame when his members published vulnerabilities in a security system of the German teletext operator Bildschirmtext (Btx). Hackers received 134 000 DM from bank, repeatedly getting access to its page to Btx. In several days hackers returned money.

image Holland was also a co-founder of the hacker log CCC, under the name Datenschleuder (The Data Slingshot: The scientific trade journal for data voyagers), in 1984. The log eulogized possibilities of a world network and powerful computers. There, for example, detailed assembly schemes of the modem were published, under itself and it is cheap. The Togdashny telephone company monopolist, Doych Bundespost (Deutsche Bundespost), had to approve models of modems and sold self-produced devices, slow and expensive. Now the privatized network of Doych Bundespost is called Doych the Telecom (Deutsche Telekom)
