New Year's check of .NET Core Libraries (CoreFX)

1 year, 1 month ago
About a year ago Microsoft uploaded publicly the source code of such projects as CoreCLR and CoreFX. The last project was not interesting to us until recently because it is written in the C# language, but not C ++. But with an output of the new PVS-Studio 6.00 version supporting projects and in the C# programming language I decided to return to CoreFX and to write article.

Introduction

.NET Core is modular implementation of libraries and runtime environment which includes a. net Framework subset. .NET Core consists of a set of libraries, called "CoreFX" and the small optimized working environment of "CoreCLR".

.NET Core extends open source which is available on GitHub:
These are the large products from Microsoft containing the qualitative source code, but suspicious code locations can all the same be found.

About check of CoreCLR it is possible to read in article "PVS-Studio: 25 suspicious fragments of a code from CoreCLR".

The CoreFX project about which the speech in article will approach was checked by means of the static PVS-Studio 6.00 analyzer which supports now and C#!

C# WPF – Own ListView with "a blackjack and …"

1 year, 2 months ago

Introduction

We recognize all that "DotNetFramework" — the brilliant invention of Microsoft which provides an impressive set of ready components and allows to build software by the principle of "LEGO". But not always they are enough, especially for the specific tasks demanding or "special high-speed performance", or "a special method of interaction" … And Microsoft gives the chance to create the components. So, I want to share experience of creation of own ListView-component (we will call so a type of components which output for viewing the list of any objects) — "quickly" (in conditions when it was necessary still yesterday).

.NET-Hardkor in Moscow

1 year, 2 months ago
DotNext 2015 Moscow conference already soon! To be I was lucky in program committee of this remarkable action so I am aware of secret activity now: I watch the general organization and I help to prepare reports. Organizers work long weeks from morning to evening that you had an opportunity for one day to plunge into the unique atmosphere: to listen to abrupt reports, to communicate to smart people, to strike up useful acquaintances, to eat tasty food, to be inspired on great fulfillments and just to have a good time.

However, the most important at conference is not the atmosphere, but content. This year program very saturated: 22 speakers (from whom 7 are MVP) in 4 flows will tell the whole day you about .NET. Subjects will be the most different: there are reports about .NET-world innovations, about modern approaches and tendencies of software development, about use of good libraries / tools and about a lot of things still. But my favourite subject is interiors of .NET, giblets of a rantaym and an other hardcore. It seems to me that sooner or later each señor developer comes to understanding that for development of really difficult products will obviously not prevent to understand what occurs under a cowl of our programs. Alas, to deal with it independently often long and difficult: too much everything it is necessary to study. Therefore with each following DotNext conference we increase degree of a hardcore and we try to manage within one day to load into random access memory of developers the maximum quantity of interesting and useful information about what is actually done by our applications and as it is better to write them.

On a debt of official duties I already listened to almost all reports (each speaker is exposed to a series of wearisome listenings, trainings and trainings for the purpose of improvement of quality of material and a statement) so well I represent that waits for you in two weeks. And today I would like to talk a little about reports to hardcore tag. If you like to understand with rantaymy also as I love it, then extremely I recommend to visit six reports below.
