Purchases of each client in shop only at first sight seem unique. At buyers identical behavior models on the basis of requirements, for example, purchase of milk and bread every other day, packs of cigarettes every evening, chocolates to tea, yogurt and croissant by a lunch, etc. are developed. And as, anyway, needs of people match, we can speak about typical consumer behavior in certain conditions.
The analysis of consumer baskets assumes studying of communications and patterns in behavior of clients of a distribution network. Results of the analysis help to create target marketing activity, to create the personalized sentences and to plan promo for increase in the average check and profit.
We already described the analysis of consumer baskets here, and in this article, we will consider comparison of typical baskets and the possibility of use of results in business processes of a retail. The possibility of visualization and comparison of baskets with similar goods helps the retailer to select quickly patterns in consumer behavior and to make the necessary decisions for optimization of the activity.

By means of Wolfram|Alpha we created for all an opportunity to easily study how separate anatomical structures are connected with each other in a human body, and also to investigate both the whole systems of bodies, and their microscopic components.

And these parts give us the excellent chance to investigate adventures of the main character together with Wolfram language.

In the economic theory many sections are devoted to process of pricing in trade.
But at practical use of tools of pricing retailers face a set of problems, it leads to errors at determination of the price and, as a result, to losses in profit.
For example, when the retailer reduces the price, the consumer demand grows, but there is no profit. Increases the goods price — demand falls.
As we see, there is a strong dependence between the price, demand and profit.
Elasticity allows to find the optimum ratio of cost and the number of sales allowing to increase profit. In other words, the price acts as the balancing factor between the expected demand and the income.

Idea of the project — to explain researches on the basis of big data in the form of artistic images of wide audience. You want to learn as detection of fraud in banks and terrorist threats or comparison of one-malt whisky looks? Under a cat some of 20 researches represented in the form of pictures.
After a hackathon we were not satisfied with what has already been achieved as it usually happens, and continued work. We on hands had data to which, probably, only the staff of the Ministry of Education had access earlier: results of SFE and a victory at the Olympic Games for 2014-2015 for 90% of the Moscow schools. For 55% of schools it was succeeded to collect data on USE for 2015. Pumped over all accounts of the Moscow school students in Contact, looked what HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS they specify at themselves in profiles after the termination.
Naturally, it was interesting to study such datast. At first trivial things about which people from education, probably, well know:

The solution is possible, using such approaches:
data analysis from programs of loyalty and other forms of studying of persons and behavior of buyers;
data analysis about purchases and transactions.

The problem of search of continuous sequences of events is quite easily solved with the help of SQL. Let's specify that these sequences are.
For an example we will take Stack Overflow. He uses cool system of reputation with awards for certain achievements. As well as in many social projects, they encourage users daily to visit a resource. Let's pay attention to these two awards:
It is easy to understand what they mean. Visit the website in the first day. Then for the second day. Then on the third (perhaps several times, it does not matter). Did not come on the fourth? We begin to consider again.
In many cases the problem of obtaining (calculation) of a range of a signal looks as follows. There is ATsP which with a sampling rate of Fd will transform the continuous signal arriving on its input during T time to digitized samples — N pieces. Further the array of counting moves in a certain applet which issues N/2 of some numerical values (the programmer who dragged away from the Internet wrote an applet, assures that it does Fourier transform).
