These holiday days when partly has to spend time at work, but changes are not entered into the working systems any more because "soon holidays who needs your fresh bugs?", it is possible to be engaged in cutting asterisks and snowflakes from paper and small experiments.

Generally, we heard such expression more than once: "my call was kicked as a ball from the operator to the operator, and as a result bounced", and can even once it was told in a fit of temper. Also it was thought, and if to provide a call as the jumping ball from a wall to a wall and as at us several tens calls happen on an asterisk in one step, then it has to look at least funny.

When I one and a half years ago, being a student 4 courses of telecommunications, came to work to the company for the system administrator's position, I understood what works I will have much, and it is necessary to teach all new even more. I pushed study the background, and then began to appear on couples of times at all a month because there is a lot of work, and it was precisely more interesting than what tried to teach in University to.

The company was engaged in sales, and naturally there were many such little men who are called sales managers, and they needed to call much!

In the first day showed me the existing system of telephony. 5 gateways VoIP Audiocodes MP-202B and ten DECT of phones + separate SIP a trunk on each phone. With these phones 30 people also juggled all day. That for..., I thought and decided to deliver to Asterisk.

The last years penetration of IP-telephony into business happens with great strides. Every day more and more opportunities appear. Asterisk + LUA: fast start

For the last year on Habré there were several articles about use of a dialplan of lua in asterisk (time, two, three, four). It is rather interesting method of writing of flexible and powerful dialplan. But to try such method of writing of dialplan it is necessary to spend time quantity: to set the necessary libraries, to rebuild with necessary for options an asterisk.

In addition many users have asterisk'the different level of preparation: someone is closer to system administration or even to traditional telephony, than to programming. Plus specifics of telephony — are better not to load with unfamiliar experiments the working systems once again, and to carry out tests and experiments on the notebook — it is necessary to litter system. Generally, there are many reasons "to postpone for later".

I want to show in this article to everyone and working with an asterisk as, using docker, it is possible to feel taste of the flexible scenarios lua quickly.
